The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was launched in the month of September 2016. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus has lot of similarities in appearance. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were great hits as “Apple” sold 78.3 million iPhones from the month of September 2016 to the end of December 2016.
These two mobile have a lot of differences than that of the previous iPhones. Mainly, the removal of headphone jack. In addition to that, apple removed many technologies such as Floppy drives, optical drives, its own proprietary 30-pin iPod connector, flash, and even USB.
Considering the above changes,it’s clear that Apple has forceful, but considered opinions about how the next generation of phones should fit into our lives. But it’s also clear that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s is a transitional step to that vision of the future, not a complete expression of it.
The iPhone 7 looks gorgeous, there’s no doubt about it. but,the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus look more or less exactly like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. For standing out from the iPhone crowd, the new Jet Black finish is really your only option. A Jet Black iPhone 7 looks like no other handset. It’s not like the plastic iPhone 5C – this is a phone made out of metal, but which is smooth to touch without being slippery. Yes, it attracts fingerprints, but who cares when it looks this good? One not of caution, though. It does mark up a little easily so you’ll need to treat it with care if you want it to keep looking good.
The iPhone 7’s new home button will elicit instant reaction from people; it’s much more different than you might think. The button no longer moves at all — it’s totally solid, just like newer MacBook trackpads. A linear vibration unit that Apple calls the Taptic Engine jolts when you apply pressure to the button, tricking your brain into feeling a click.
The Display is very good. But, you have to realize that the colours you see on your electronic devices like laptop, mobile or any other device won’t be exactly same as in real. The colour might look almost real, but not the exact same.
Let’s take the example of an image where you have multiple shades of red – for example a gradient that goes from an extremely dark shade of red to the lightest possible red. While in the real world you will see this as a continuous stream of colour with virtually infinite strains of red in between, while capturing this information, your sRGB camera is limited by the number of red shades available in its colour space. This means that every pixel that doesn’t have a corresponding exact match in the sRGB colour gamut is replaced by its closest match. This is the main reason why gradients never look as smooth on our screens as they do in the real world.
The battery life on these devices is much improved compared to the iPhone 6s, as it can last an extra couple of hours on 3G/ 4G networks. Though the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus should each last you a day on a single charge, if you are a heavy user, the bigger iPhone still has clear benefits. In our battery loop test, the iPhone 7 lasted just under 10 hours, while the iPhone 7 Plus with its bigger battery but higher-resolution display lasted just over 10 hours. But in real-world usage, the iPhone 7 lasted us a day of moderate to heavy usage, while the iPhone 7 Plus had some juice left in the tank even at the end of busy days.
The iPhone 7 represents another upgrade over the iPhone 6S: there’s a new, faster f/1.8 lens, the addition of optical image stabilization, a new four-color True Tone flash, and wider color capture. This all adds up to a decent improvement, but the iPhone 6S was already operating at the top of the scale, bested only recently by the latest cameras in the Galaxy S7 and Note 7. In low light, that faster lens and optical image stabilization means that the 7 significantly outperforms the 6S. But compared to the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 7 is a step improvement, but it is not a major leap.
